This detailed and elaborate plan of the city printed by E. Butler and dedicated to Henry Duke of Beaufort is the first and most important derivative plan of the city done by Ralph Agas in 1578. The 17 views of the Oxford colleges surrounding the plan were taken from drawings by John Bereblock (1566) prepared for the visit of Queen Elizabeth to Oxford.
