The modern map of Spain printed in the Ulm edition of Ptolemy's "Geographia" of 1482. One of the earliest obtainable "modern" maps of Spain. The various regions of Spain are clearly marked, with the Kingdom of Navarre highlighted in green, and Portugal in light yellow wash.
The map was published in the first atlas printed outside Italy and the first atlas illustrated with woodcut maps.
