TEFAF Maastricht in the Netherlands is the last remaining fair for pre-20th-century works that is truly international. Can young collector, who mostly prefer contemporary art, be encouraged to buy?

The foundling card has a tragic background. A mother who was no longer able to care for her newborn child would lay the card to be found alongside her abandoned baby.
