The map is a special limited edition of 15, commissioned by the London Transport Museum for their major group exhibition 'Mind the Map' of 2012. With 'Saptarishi', Simon Patterson revisits his iconic work 'The Great Bear' from 1992, adding new contemporary names for a new decade. Both works are a reminder that the map itself, though timeless, is constantly being updated as times change.
