Notes
The map gives details of market towns which – as the key tells us – are marked in a “Round Roman Hand”, parish churches, villages and hamlets, gentlemen’s houses, ordinary houses, roads and rivers. The map bears grid lines, with each square said to contain three statute miles.
Scale: approx. 1/2 inch to 1 statute mile.
