Detailed plan of Malta and her fortifications.
The plan is dedicated to Cardinal Sigismondo Chigi (1649-1678) who was a Knight of the Sovereign Order of Malta, and who was made Cardinal in 1667 at the tender age of eighteen.
Rare we are only able to trace two examples of the present plan, in the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, and the Portuguese National Library.
