The plan is surrounded by a border of 23 vignette views of the city's buildings and monuments; these include, The Louvre, Notre Dame, Les Invalides, and the Opera.
Loius Joseph Mondhare (fl. 1760-1796) was a Paris printseller and publisher; Louis Joseph began publishing circa 1760, and from 1784 he established a partnership for 12 years with his son-in-law Pierre Jean.
Rare not the BNF. Boutier records a catalogue by Edgar Mareuse of 1877, which mentions the 1775 edition.
