Map of Middlesex, published by John Speed in his 'Theatre of Great Britain' of 1611.

An open volume to the right of the map apologises for the lack of detail on the London plan and promises that a larger plan will be made. The two plans of London and Westminster were copied from those in Norden's 'Description of Middlesex', published in 1593.

Scale: 3 1/2 inches to 1 statute mile.
